Before you can see the feature in all its glory, it’s important to learn more about its availability. Right now, the option to make video calls from the home screen is only available in preview builds — Edge Dev and Canary — and not in the stable build. What’s more, not every Edge Canary user will be able to get their hands on the feature, as Microsoft reserves the privilege for a select group.
