Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is only two days away, so of course everyone is jumping on it to play it as soon as possible. For some, that means taking time off work, including Nikiichi Tobita, the creator of the Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree manga.
Elden Ring has a manga…
Tobita will be putting the project on hold so he can enjoy the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC in peace. As reported by Automaton, Tobita also said that the manga’s planned July 19th chapter will have to be delayed until a later date. The Road to the Erdtree manga is a comedic comic that spins existing lore and world-building with plenty of funny gags, but also provides readers with some fantastic Elden Ring-inspired art.
Tobita probably isn’t the only person on this good earth taking time off from work to enjoy FromSoftware’s long-awaited expansion to one of the biggest games of 2022. After two years in development, Shadow of the Erdtree hopes to repeat the success of The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, which despite being a DLC pack, won the RPG of the Year Award in 2016. Both content creators who had the chance to play it early and critics have almost unanimously praised the expansion pack, with our own Tom Foley stating that “FromSoftware has never been better” in his 9/10 review.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is set to launch on June 21st, just two days from now, and is set to be one of the biggest DLCs in video game history. Alleged leaks have caused some controversy among players regarding some of the bosses, but how exactly the community will perceive the actual DLC will be revealed very soon.
