Mark Kyrnin is a former writer for Lifewire, where he wrote extensively about computer hardware for over 13 years.
Kyrnin began building personal computers from parts in high school. His first system was an IBM-compatible 286 processor with 4 megabytes of RAM, a 5 1/4-inch floppy drive, VGA card, and 16-color grayscale VGA monitor. He is now a network engineer who helps train staff in various networking technologies.
