Mark Wahlberg has been attached to the reboot of The Six Billion Dollar Man for a while now. It would be a fresh take on the iconic 1973 The Six Million Dollar Man series. There is no release date set for the project yet. But even if Wahlberg were offered superhero roles in the future, he would still choose his reboot film over that one.

While The Six Billion Dollar Man isn’t currently in production, Wahlberg does plan to see it come to fruition at some point. While promoting his upcoming Netflix film, The Union, the actor was asked if his Marvel co-stars Halle Berry and Tom Holland had tried to recruit him into the MCU. He responded that The Six Million Dollar Man reboot is the only superhero project he’s currently focused on.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, he jokingly said:

“You know, I have one superhero movie in mind, and that's The Six Billion Dollar Man, formally known as The Six Million Dollar Man, which has become more expensive due to inflation.”
