There are eight rank levels in Marvel Rivals' competitive mode, most of which consist of multiple divisions.
Eternity and the game's highest rank, One Above All, are unique in that they do not feature tiers. Instead, each player in those ranks has a star ranking. A player's star count is updated based on match results, and earning stars is the key to promotion. In Eternity and One Above All, players' star counts are reduced due to inactivity, resulting in demotion.
