Marvel Rivals is a hero shooter with characters that have unique abilities like in other games. In addition, there are also unique team abilities that inspire players to choose a theme for their teams, such as Rocket and Groot, or Iron Man and Hulk, to create awesome combos together.

In the Marvel Rivals closed alpha test, there are seven different team-up abilities, with more undoubtedly added to existing heroes and new ones as they are added to the game over time. For some heroes, the ability will be passive, while for others it will require a button press to activate. Check out the Team-Up Ability controls in the settings menu to see which one to use.
