An exploit that compromises Marvel Snap's new Leagues feature is causing the game's developer Second Dinner to give away free top rewards, the company announced today.

Snap’s first version of Leagues, themed around Deadpool and featuring an emote featuring the Merc with a Mouth, pitted 30 players against each other on a leaderboard for a set period of time (two days for this one). The higher you climb in your League, the better the rewards you could get. But a win-trading technique ruined it for everyone.
Marvel Snap players quickly discovered that they could enter Conquest mode’s Proving Grounds rank and trade retreats back and forth with other players. Losing a retreat only nets you 25 points, while your opponent retreating rewards you with 125 points.
In short, players lined up for Proving Grounds to go back and forth, and both left with 500 points without actually playing the game. This inflated many individual League rankings.
