Stephanie Tyler Jones, Mary Jane’s face model in Spider-Man games, has called out creepy fans who are crossing boundaries and violating her privacy. She shared a post on her official Instagram stories (@stephtyler_) stating that some fans were stalking and harassing her by calling her workplace and leaving multiple voicemail messages asking her to speak with them and asking her to call her back.
Spider-Man MJ Face Model Asks Fans To Stop Harassing And Stalking Her [A RANT]
Here's the full message addressing Spider-Man fans. She writes, "I appreciate the love for my role in the Spider-Man games and the positive reactions to my version of MJ that I have received over the years. However, I am no longer an active auditioning actor or model. The shoots I do now are purely a creative outlet for myself and a way to collaborate with friends that I love."
“Over the weekend, some followers overstepped boundaries. One even went so far as to call my workplace and leave multiple voicemails asking to speak to me and asking me to call back, which is unacceptable and considered stalking. My skincare page is not for Spider-Man or MJ fans.”
“The bottom line is I came into work this morning and immediately felt unsafe and uncomfortable when I heard those voicemails. Please respect that I am a human being trying to make a living just like you and I kindly ask that you do not overstep any boundaries.”
