Mary Landesman is a former staff writer for Lifewire, where she wrote about computer security, virus prevention, and antivirus software for over 11 years.
With a background in telecom security and technical training, Landesman has been directly involved in computer security since the early 1990s. She has worked in various roles within the security industry and brings a unique perspective to the topic of antivirus software and virus prevention. Landesman's work has been published in several industry journals, including Virus Bulletin, PC World, Mac World, and ZDNet. In 2015, Landesman was named one of the women to watch in IT security.
