Full-time writer and editor with over 15 years of experience reporting on games, technology, pop culture, and travel for a variety of online and print media outlets including Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, IGN, Apple, Tom's Guide, TechRadar, and more.
As a Lifewire employee, Matt brings his extensive experience in games and the gaming industry to both enthusiasts and consumers. Matt has also worked as a consultant for over a decade, helping dozens of AAA and independent game developers improve their games through extensive feedback and expert to provide analyses.
Before Matt began his full-time writing career in 2005, he started out in the games industry as a quality analyst for various game publishers, including LucasArts, Electronic Arts, and Irrational Games. These days, Matt finds little time to play games "just for fun", but is grateful for the opportunity to work in an industry he is so passionate about.
