Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger, is finally bringing its AI chatbot to India. This comes four months after the company launched its Llama 3-powered AI chatbot globally.

Indian users can now use Meta AI by updating their respective apps and using the chatbot in their DMs and feed and using it to generate AI images. The AI chatbot will be available in English for now, with plans to make it available in more Indian languages in the future.

Meta AI is uniquely integrated across platforms, but there are several similarities. On WhatsApp, you can chat with Meta AI individually and invoke it by typing and selecting '@Meta AI' in a group conversation when needed.
