Samus Aran is set to make her triumphant return to Nintendo in a long-awaited sequel to the Metroid franchise.
Metroid Prime 4 Finally Gets Release Window – IGN Daily Fix
After years of silence, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is real and it's finally coming out. During today's Nintendo Direct, Metroid Prime 4 closed out the show with the reveal that the game is coming soon.
A short trailer for the game showed off some stunning FPS gameplay, Samus in her morph ball form, and plenty of action alongside what looks like a new villain. The game also looks impressive graphically.
A sequel to 2007’s Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, little is known about its story at this time, but more will be revealed during future Direct presentations. This is also the first Metroid game since 2021’s smash hit Metroid Dread, a classic 2D side-scroller title, whereas the Prime series is played primarily in first-person.
