Microsoft unveiled Windows 11 on Thursday, unveiling a range of new features designed to make using the operating system on tablet PCs easier.

Microsoft seems to be focusing heavily on making Windows 11 a seamless experience on tablet PCs. After initially announcing the operating system on Thursday, the company took some time to talk in depth about the new features it has planned for Windows 11 on tablets. Chief among these features were new typing improvements, better touch targeting, and of course, widgets.
Another big change with Windows 11 is when you remove an attachable keyboard from your tablet PC. Previously, the OS would change the layout when you detached the keyboard. Now, however, the layout stays the same, meaning you don’t have to worry about resizing or moving windows around.
Also, icons don't resize in tablet mode, which makes them easier to see when using Windows 11 without a keyboard or external display connected.
