The new Microsoft Office 2021 will be available from October 5.
Microsoft to release both Office 2021 and Windows 11 on October 5, 2021
The productivity suite's availability coincides with the official launch of Windows 11, according to Gizmodo. You'll need to buy Office 2021 outright if you plan to use it on Windows 11.
While Microsoft has yet to officially announce any Office 2021 features, the tech giant did provide a glimpse of what users can expect in its Office LTSC, which is now available to commercial customers. These features include Dark Mode, new Excel formulas, improved in-app translations for Outlook, row search in Excel, and more.
Support for Office 2021 will continue for the next five years, until 2026. According to Gizmodo, that's shorter than the usual seven years of support Microsoft previously offered to its Office customers.
