They’re also built to improve access to AI, with a Copilot key added to the keyboards of both models. The company also announced that its Adaptive Accessories will also be available to business customers.
The new devices are equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors and an integrated neural processing unit (NPU). According to Microsoft, this makes the Surface Laptop 6 twice as fast as the Surface Laptop 5, while the Surface Pro 10 is up to 53 percent faster than the previous Pro 9.
The new Pro 10 will feature 5G, a first for the platform, while the keyboard features a bolder keypad and larger fonts than before, with higher contrast and backlighting too. The company is also promising a 33 percent brighter touch- and pen-enabled display, along with an anti-reflective coating. There’s also a new ultrawide (114˚ field of view) webcam included to make Teams calls clearer and better than before.
