Microsoft has announced a new Microsoft Teams integration feature in the Windows 11 system update.
Hands-on with NEW Microsoft Teams for Windows 11
During Thursday's What's Next for Windows event, Microsoft revealed that it's integrating Teams directly into the Windows 11 taskbar, making it easier to access. The Teams app will take pride of place in the new taskbar, allowing users to connect with friends and family more efficiently.
Microsoft also said that Teams will be integrated across all the devices you work on that run Windows 11.
“Now you can instantly connect via text, chat, voice, or video with all your personal contacts, anywhere, no matter what platform or device they’re on — Windows, Android, or iOS,” the company wrote in a blog post. “If the person you’re connecting to on the other end doesn’t have the Teams app downloaded, you can still connect with them via two-way SMS.”
