Microsoft has started testing the revamped Photos app for Windows 11 a few weeks ahead of the planned launch of the new operating system.
New Photos App in Windows 11 – New Interface and New Features
According to a post on the Windows Insider Blog, the new Photos app has a revamped user interface and new features to make editing even more fun.
The redesigned app matches the visual style of Windows 11 with rounded corners and a wallpaper that incorporates the desktop theme and background for a personal touch. This reflective background is known as Mica Material and serves as the basis for many of the apps.
Windows 11 Photos now has a "filmstrip" feature at the bottom of the photo viewer that displays all the photos in a folder, allowing users to jump through their collection.
