In September 2023, Microsoft made its biggest Windows 11 update (KB5031455) available to Windows Insider beta testers. That update is now available to everyone and will be formally released on the next Patch Tuesday, November 14.

If you’re a Windows user, you may have heard about the “Moment 4” update coming to Windows 11. This massive update includes dozens of new features or feature updates and many more quality improvements that have nothing to do with security.

Topping the list is the Windows Copilot AI Assistant feature that many Windows users have been waiting for. This AI assistant can help you easily adjust your computer’s settings, find answers for you, locate files and documents on your hard drive, and even generate content like stories or drawings from simple text prompts.

This update also includes features such as the ability to hover over Recommended files in the Start menu, an improved volume mixer, the ability to hide the date and time in the notification area, new views for notifications, a new start page for File Explorer with WinUI, more support for file types like .rar files, and security updates such as Passkey support.
