EXCLUSIVE: Los Angeles Dodgers star Markus "Mookie" Betts surprises his dad with a home makeover in an upcoming episode of CBS' Secret Celebrity Renovation.
Secret Celebrity Renovation season 3 premieres Friday on CBS
The special episode of the reality series airs on September 20, hosted by Nischelle Turner. The design team includes handyman and TV personality Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano and interior designer Sabrina Soto.
Together, the team will help Betts, who has just returned to the Dodgers' starting lineup, trade in his baseball bat for a sledgehammer as he returns to his hometown of Nashville, TN to surprise his father, Willie, with a much-needed home renovation.
According to CBS's episode description, this isn't the first time Betts has tried to help his father with chores around the house, but so far his father has always turned him down.
