We recently tested the MG7700 to see how well it would perform in a typical home environment, evaluating its design, ease of installation, network speeds, and software features.
The Motorola MG7700 is fairly compact at 9.1 x 2.6 x 2.6 inches with a gray finish and a black stand. On the front of the device, you'll find several indicator lights that show whether the device is powered on, whether there is traffic flowing through your network, and whether people are connected to your wireless network. The indicator lights are easy to see and understand — something you typically won't find on a modem from your cable company.
