Motorola Moto G7 Review | Still the Best Value Phone?
There are plenty of flashy smartphones available these days, but most will set you back hundreds of dollars. Fortunately, premium flair is starting to reach the lower end of the price range, as evidenced by Motorola’s Moto G7.
The Moto G line has traditionally been one of the best in the budget segment, but the Moto G7’s design punches above its weight, delivering surprising flagship allure for a fraction of the cost. That illusion doesn’t extend to the overall experience, though, as the modest processing power and camera capabilities feel more typical of the price point. This is still one of the better all-around phones you can buy for under $300, even if the rising price of the Moto G series is starting to pull it away from true budget status.
The Motorola Moto G7 steps up a notch compared to its budget competition, with a look that largely resembles that of the latest flagship phones. There’s minimal bezels around the display thanks to the use of a teardrop notch, a small hole-punch at the top center for the front-facing camera. This helps increase the screen’s immersion and gives it a high-end visual edge.
