How to Move Rows in Excel (The Easiest Way)
Are there times when you decide to rearrange the data in your worksheet after you've added it? If so, you can move rows of data in Microsoft Excel using a few different methods.
Instead of retyping the data in a different location or copying, pasting, and then deleting the original data set, you can use one of the following methods to move rows in Excel.
Before you use any of the methods below to move a row in Excel, you may want to insert a blank row. This is useful if you are moving the row between other rows that already contain data that you don't want to overwrite.
