Over 200 Magic: The Gathering players gathered in Amsterdam for the final Pro Tour of the season, featuring modern gameplay and Modern Horizons 3 Draft. Here are the updated standings and scores for day two of Pro Tour Amsterdam.
Round 12 | Ken Yukuhiro vs Ma Noah | Contemporary | #PTMH3
Day three of the MH3 Pro Tour featured five Bant Nadu decks, so it was likely to be the final match of the day. Dominguez gave it his all with Jeskai Control, but lost in the quarterfinals to Simon Nielsen. Nielsen would reach the final table with Bant Nadu in a mirror match against Sam Pardee, who was also playing Bant Nadu.
Pardee reached the final table by beating Bant Nadu in the quarterfinals against Ye and the semifinals against Eli Kassis. But Pardee's mirror match victories ended at the final table when Nielsen won the MH3 Pro Tour in Amsterdam. Nielsen's triumph moved him closer to the Kai Budde Player of the Year award.
The second day of the final Pro Tour in Amsterdam started with the last three rounds of the Modern Horizons 3 Draft, which moved the rankings up significantly.
