Anitta, Karol G, LL Cool J and Shawn Mendes are joining the lineup for the 2024 MTV VMAs, the network announced Tuesday.

They join a lineup that includes previously announced artists Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Camila Cabello, Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz and Blackpink's Lisa. The show will take place live on Wednesday, September 11 at 8pm ET/PT from UBS Arena in New York City.

Anitta brings her signature Brazilian funk to the MTV stage for the third year in a row with a medley of “Savage Funk” and “Alegria” plus the world premiere of “Paradise” featuring guest appearances from Fat Joe, DJ Khaled and Tiago PZK. The first-ever Brazilian to win the 2022 VMAs, Anitta is vying for her third consecutive “Best Latin” win this year, with 2 nominations in that category among her three total nominations.
