Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players encountered a major bug today, with player accounts across the world seemingly reset to level one.

This widespread glitch has been known to cause mass hysteria among the game’s player base, but honestly, there’s no need to worry as a fix is on the way. When you boot up CoD: MW3, you may find that your rank and level have been reset all the way to where they were starting, sending your account back to level one.
This bug remains the same for all players, as you will notice in the game that many others are also stuck on level one. Unfortunately for fans of the franchise, the source behind this bug is still a mystery.
Fortunately for players, this glitch doesn't permanently drop your account to level one. We can't imagine that happening without riots breaking out in the streets. The developers are currently working on a fix for the issue.
