Modern Warfare 3's midseason update is coming next week, and Activision has revealed details about what players can expect from the "Reloaded" patch.

The update highlights the return of a classic weapon, the BAL-27 assault rifle from 2014's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and two new six-vs-six maps called Grime and Checkpoint.
The BAL-27 "features fast reloads and a unique firing mechanic where the first four shots promote accuracy before the weapon transitions to a higher rate of fire to get the job done and take down your target quickly," according to Activision. It can be unlocked via challenges in the Battle Pass.
Grime is set in a “desolate corner of London” in a dirty canal, and Checkpoint is a reused point of interest from Rebirth Island. Both are described as medium-sized maps designed for 12 players.
