Sorry I didn't write you sooner, but I did post this after I got settled in. Things are going well! We were just a bit longer at sea than expected as we had to dodge a few small showers along the way.

It's been a little over a week now and I think I'm finally getting the hang of life as a builder. Having the old workshop waiting for me certainly helps! It was in bad shape but it only took me a few days to patch up the holes. Now I don't have to worry about the wind (or bugs) coming in at night, haha.
Luckily the bed is still in good condition so I didn't have to worry about sleeping on the floor. Actually I wanted to thank you both for sending some new furniture for the place! It was in my mailbox when I got here and it really brightened up the place! The massage chair seems a bit over the top but I guess I can't argue with something this comfortable.
With all the repairs I’ve only just started to make time to introduce myself to the city. I said “hello” to a few people when I walked in, but I don’t think that counts. Anyway, I’ve stopped in most of the shops and while the owners are all very friendly, their stuff is quite expensive. At least it is expensive for someone who just moved here.
