GRAY HAIR TRANSITION STORY | JENNIFER
I was born and raised in Argentina. I always loved dancing, acting and striking poses for photos. I was also good at math, which is how I developed a successful career in market research. My profession took me from Buenos Aires to London, and from working as an executive for top brands to having my own thriving agency. During these twenty years I became an expert in the field of brands, image and conveying emotions to people.
In my late forties, still working in my former profession, I moved to London. By then I felt like I needed a career change. As for my hair, I colored it as needed, even though I didn't feel like I had the time or natural interest to do so. At that moment the first silver strands had emerged and I felt like I was starting a new chapter in my life. It was only in my power to make it good or bad.
Besides the idea of doing something new, I brought to life something that I had been thinking about since I was 40: stop coloring my hair to hide the white hairs. I was tired of spending fortunes and hours at hairdressers getting my hair colored, and as a newcomer to London I was struggling with time and money. Hiding my fair hair meant going to the salon every two weeks, so finally doing away with the mandatory every-two-week hair visit fit in perfectly with the opportunity to invest that time and money into more rewarding things.
