Two new games have hit Netflix's gaming service: Arcanium: Rise of Akhan and Krispee Street, both of which are available for iOS and Android users.
Netflix goes from mobile to cloud gaming with 2 games
According to Netflix Geeked on Twitter, Arcanium is an open-world card strategy game clearly inspired by Blizzard Entertainment's Hearthstone, while Krispee Street seems more like Where's Waldo? With these two titles, Netflix's total gaming lineup stands at 12 and counting.
Arcanium: Rise of Akhan sees players build a deck of heroes and monsters in a board game-like setting to attack other players to win. The game also marks Netflix’s first third-party title, as Arcanium first launched on Steam in 2020 to mostly positive reviews.
Then there’s Krispee Street, which is based on the webcomic Krispee. This title is a lot less intense, as you only have to find characters or objects in a sea of other characters. It’s also the fourth game from developer FrostyPop to be released on Netflix’s gaming service since its launch.
