Netgear C3700 Cable Modem Router Review
Sometimes we look at our cable bill and gasp: That extra $10 a month to rent a modem really adds up. That’s why devices like the Netgear C3700 are so important. For under $100, this modem could likely pay for itself in less than a year and still deliver the speeds we expect from our service (at least over a wired connection).
We put the Netgear C3700 through its paces and put it through its paces to see if it's worth the money and what kind of performance you can expect.
For a device that houses both a cable modem and a wireless router, you might expect the Netgear C3700 to be a bulky machine, but that’s not the case. It’s actually quite small, measuring just 7.6 inches tall and weighing just 0.77 pounds. This, combined with the understated black finish and lack of external antennas, means that it won’t stick out wherever you place it.
