In a press release on Monday, Artlist announced that it is partnering with Canva to offer digital marketers and content creators access to its library of royalty-free digital assets, including both music and “cinematic” video footage. While Artlist claims to have “an extensive catalog of over 2.5 million” digital assets, Canva users will have “access to a curated collection of Artist’s premium royalty-free songs and cinematic footage.” It’s unclear whether this means the entire library will be available or just portions of it.
“Most business leaders are now investing in visual platforms and prioritizing design literacy for all of their employees. The need to create content is no longer limited to designers and creatives, but something all teams must navigate to effectively communicate ideas, stand out, and achieve their goals,” Tanya Raheja, Head of Content, Canva, said in an Atlist blog post about the announcement. “By combining high-quality visual ingredients with accessible design tools like Canva, teams can achieve the best possible results.”
The new digital assets will be integrated into Canva’s existing offerings, making it easier for content creators and other professionals to find the assets they’re looking for without having to learn a new system or user interface. The press release also notes that there will be “no additional subscription fees required” to access the assets.
