VCT star TenZ was spotted using windowed mode during the playoff elimination match between Sentinels and 100 Thieves. It may sound strange, but it could be a good setting for other VALORANT players to test out.
The 4K to force OT? I really like TenZ. #vct #valorant #shorts #sentinels
The VCT Americas playoffs kicked off yesterday with two key elimination matches, including one between Sentinels and 100 Thieves. In addition to witnessing an intense series, VALORANT fans couldn’t help but notice something interesting on TenZ’s screen: the Sentinels star was actually playing in windowed mode instead of fullscreen.
As it turns out, TenZ had been experimenting with another new setting the day before the playoffs, and he explained it all on stream. Along with the windowed mode, he tested out the stretched resolution and immediately fell in love with it — he even compared it to Counter-Strike. “It feels easy to hit shots,” he explained. “If I could use this for the rest of my life, I would 100 percent.” He also admitted that it made the game look faster and more engaging.
As you can see from the stream, the stretched resolution zooms in more, making it easier to see and connect shots. TenZ pointed out how nice it is to have your weapon further to the side than the default setup.
