We don't really need to add another smartphone to the list, but in this case, the phone OnePlus announced on Wednesday is much more about style and design than necessity.
The Crimson Shadow #OnePlusOpen Apex Edition will be available in 15 minutes!
The OnePlus Open Apex Edition foldable smartphone goes on sale in the U.S. starting Wednesday, according to a press release sent to Lifewire. The Apex Edition comes in a brand-new color that "pays special tribute to the Hasselblad 503CW 60 Years Victor Red Edition." That makes the color options for the Open Apex Crimson Shadow (red), Emerald Dusk (green), or Voyager Black.
The most important part of the new edition, however, is the upgrade to storage and the AI imaging features that are included. The Open Apex will feature 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of storage. This is accompanied by the dual ProXDR displays, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, 67W flash charging, and the 4th-gen Hasselblad camera.
You can edit the images you capture with your Hasselblad camera with AI Smart Cutout, which lets you cut out objects to create custom stickers and edit your photos. Improved subject recognition lets you identify and isolate people (one or more) for easier editing.
