There have been a number of updates and new features added to Pixel phones (from the 4a to the 7 Pro), as well as the Pixel Watch.
Pixel Feature Drop June 2024: ALL New Features!
Google’s new Pixel Feature Drop is here, bringing a few updates to Pixel phones and the Pixel Watch, including new Watch tiles for your Weather and Contacts apps. There are also new wallpapers available for non-wearables, including the corner-sliding Live Bloom and three options from Morgan Harper Nichols in honor of International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Beyond the cosmetic features, there’s Fitbit Premium’s Sleep Profile integration for the Pixel Watch, which monitors 10 different sleep variables to give you a clearer picture of how you’re snoozing. And if you don’t have a Pixel Watch, you can still use your Pixel phone to detect coughing and snoring while you sleep.
Communication clarity is also being worked on in a number of key areas. According to Google, Clear Calling will adjust the volume to make background noise less noticeable and amplify the caller’s voice so they’re easier to understand. Meanwhile, Recorder can automatically track individual speakers, tag them, and split up the text it transcribes to make documenting conversations smoother.
