Want your Vizio TV to turn on faster? This new update does just that, but there are a few other features added as well.

Vizio announced Wednesday that it's rolling out a new Vizio Home software update. The update, which applies to all current Vizio TV models, including Quantum Pro 4K QLED Smart TV models, is designed to make powering on and switching between apps on your TV faster. How much faster? According to the press release announcing the update, "2x faster."

In addition to faster loading, the new update also adds a left-side navigation app with hierarchical sorting. Vizio promises that this will make "searching for content faster." The company also assures more responsive navigation controls.

Vizio also claims to have made improvements to both voice and text search, including faster recommendations and search results.
