Ninja expressed his disappointment with the current Fortnite Chapter 2 season, Wrecked, which has seen custom vehicles become popular and a meta-defining, feature-changing feature for many players.

"We're going to land in the middle of nowhere. We're going to loot. We're going to find a vehicle and attack everyone. We're going to gas up the car, make sure it has the Cow Catcher and a mounted turret," Ninja said on stream, talking about the gameplay change in the new season of Fortnite, where people are heavily reliant on vehicles.
"You're going to take your repair torch and play as the biggest fucking losers in the world," he continued. Ninja went on to say, "Now I have to drive around in a vehicle and pray that I run into people who have a worse vehicle than me," underscoring the game's shift from a third-person shooter battle royale to custom vehicle mayhem.
The Fortnite community is divided over the meta-defining vehicle update. While some love the change, others aren’t happy about it. “Definitely broken as hell and I think it would be ridiculously easy to win consistently,” one player said on Reddit. “I just don’t get why Epic keeps giving us seasons like this, I get they have to make it fun for the majority of the player base which is kids who love using this kind of stuff but to the point where it destroys the competitive side of Fortnite, especially the building mechanic,” said another, stressing that the change destroys the competitive side of the game.
