The creative director of No Rest for the Wicked has called on PlayStation and Nintendo to “embrace early access” following the success of the Moon Studios title.
No Rest for the Wicked Early Access review
No Rest for the Wicked launched into early access on Steam on April 18th and has quickly become one of the platform's most popular titles. Console players will have to wait a little longer, however.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Thomas Mahler described the decision to launch No Rest for the Wicked as an early access title as "one of the best decisions" the studio has made due to the tremendous amount of feedback it has received.
The lengthy post explained the benefits Moon Studios saw from the decision. Mahler noted that he believed Dark Souls would have benefited from the early access approach and that he is "confident" that early access releases will result in "programs that would never have been made."
