Nokia was quick to share its Android 10 update plans after Google rolled out the Android 10 update for its Pixel devices. The Finnish mobile phone maker confirmed that it plans to update the Nokia 2.2 in January 2020, although it may still take a while (Q2 2020) for the Android 10 update to come to Nokia 2.1

Software Update Timeline

HMD Global released an Android Pie update for the Nokia 2.1 on February 21, 2019. The device is also expected to receive an update to Android Q when it launches sometime later this year, or possibly in early 2020. The Nokia 2 V, a variant of the Nokia 2.1 sold in the US on Verizon Wireless, is scheduled to move to Pie in Q2 2019.
