The North Face Pivoter Backpack
The North Face has been making backpacks since the 60s, so they know a thing or two about making quality gear for consumers. With their Pivoter backpack, The North Face proves once again that their background in backpacking and hiking gear works well both on and off the trail. The Pivoter is another solid option for those on the hunt for their next laptop backpack, especially if you’re looking for something lightweight and simple.
The overall look of the Pivoter is in line with most other North Face packs, merging the style of the more rugged outdoors and hiking elements into the bag. While it looks like something you might see on a hiking trail, it’s toned down just enough to fit in whether you’re heading to the gym or the office. That said, there are a lot of funky color combinations for the Pivoter, including bright aqua blues and vibrant reds and oranges, so you may want to avoid those for a professional environment.
While the Pivoter isn’t loaded with extra accessories or features, it does have a few reflectors for added visibility in the dark and a loop for a bike light for those who bike to work. Also on the outside of the pack are two water bottle pockets that are a good size. They’ll fit just about any bottle you want to carry with you and are also perfect for carrying your morning coffee and a protein shake or water for your workout afterwards. On the front of the pack is your typical small pocket with lots of little organizers for small items that you need easy access to.
