While he stormed to a 1,400 rating in less than three months, making him better than most chess players, this high Elo puts him in the top 0.5 percent. What’s even more surprising is that it took Tyler1 just 10 months to achieve this feat, stunning viewers and the chess community alike.

Fans praised him on a Reddit thread for his determination and impressive progress in the online game. "His only gift is his perseverance.
