Why the Nothing CMF Phone 1 is a 'game changer'.
In a press release sent to Lifewire, Nothing's CMF announced the new CMF Phone 1, CMF Watch Pro 2, and CMF Buds Pro 2. The CMF Phone 1, the first in the line, features a "powerful camera system" and a customizable design, while the CMF Watch Pro 2 offers a customizable bezel and band, and the CMF Buds Pro 2 features a new customizable watch face on the front of the case.
The CMF Phone 1 starts at $199 and features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor with a 5,000mAh battery that CMF says "will keep users going for up to two days on a single charge." The camera system includes a 50MP rear-facing camera and a 16MP front-facing camera. But perhaps the most interesting part of the package is the swappable backplate that allows you to quickly change the colors of your phone whenever you feel like it.
The Watch Pro 2 takes things a step further with an easy-to-swap bezel and band system, but it also has an AMOLED always-on display and is IP68 water and dust resistant. CMF also says the Watch Pro 2 "has up to 11 days of battery life," even with dozens of sports modes, heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, and more. The Watch Pro 2 costs $69, with the additional bezel and band kit costing $19.
