Netflix just made a whole lot of people who don’t like motion previews on their home screens happy. The company announced in a tweet that it will now let people turn off the “feature,” much like disabling autoplay between episodes (which was added in 2014).

If you're bothered by the movement of multiple small rectangles of content on your Netflix home screen, there's now an easy fix.

Visit Netflix's help page and select the arrow next to 'Automatically play previews while browsing on all devices'.

The instructions are to log into your Netflix account via a web browser, select Manage Profiles from the menu there, and choose the profile you want to update. Then, turn off the option to Automatically play previews while browsing on all devices. If you want to turn it back on, do the opposite.
