A few weeks ago the Elite Battery Strap for my Quest 3 stopped charging the headset. I left it plugged in overnight and the next morning the VR set was still dead.

I went through a long process of contacting Meta, getting a replacement battery approved (after several troubleshooting steps with Meta chat support), and then sending in my old battery and waiting for a new one to arrive.

If you're experiencing the same issue, Meta says it can make a replacement easier.

In an email I received this morning (and according to other sources), Meta is voluntarily replacing “certain Meta Quest 3 Elite Straps with battery.”
