Once you’ve made your way through the Greatwood Maze in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, you’ll be confronted by the Ancient Seed, a large tree boss monster that can be tricky to defeat. There’s no Gimmick at play here and no adds, but you can quickly find yourself in trouble as your entire party seems to be taking consistent damage. Here’s how to get through it.
It's not immediately obvious, but while it may seem like the Ancient Seed only has one attack, it can actually attack any member of your party individually in the same turn. This is because it gets a free counterattack on any of your heroes that attack it.
