American Olympians including basketball star Anthony Edwards got a sneak peek of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 today, and I'm not mad about it at all.
ESPORTS OLYMPICS? NEW RULES FOR 2028 | BC
Sorry. I just lied. In case you couldn't tell from the headline, I'm bitter and jealous about it. I've been sweating my ass off in my Herman Miller wishing it was the end of the month so I could play the new CoD. But I'm not a super-talented athlete, so I'm rotting here.
Not only did Edwards sign a five-year, $260 million contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves in May, and not only is he an elite athlete representing his country, but he’s now beating me at my own game and playing CoD early. And he’s only 23. You could say he’s winning at life.
But will he win CoD? I wonder how the games will go. How do the weapons feel? How is omni-movement? Are the maps classic Treyarch? Did he play Zombies, or was it just multiplayer? Is he ready for the game against Puerto Rico tomorrow? What am I doing with my life?
