The chaotic, creepy world of Human may once have been a paradise for survival fans, but what good is it if you can’t explore it smoothly? While there have been several attempts at a crash-free experience since release, Patch 1.1 only made matters worse. For this, Starry Studio offers a “profound” apology.
Once upon a time man released a BIG new update and there are concerns about the balance
Following Once Human’s latest update on August 14, players have reported crashing before reaching the main menu, even on high-end rigs. More disturbing reports have also emerged that the game is causing players’ systems to crash and shut down completely. Many players are also unable to load into their Eternaland save, causing major issues within the fandom.
Fortunately, Starry Studio has acknowledged the issue and released a statement apologizing and promising to fix it soon. While the developer did not disclose the “issue” it discovered, it is likely that Patch 1.1 broke a crucial part of the netcode, hence the crashes.
"We have received feedback from some players regarding the issue of crashing while entering the game. We have identified the issue and are urgently fixing it," the developer's message reads. "We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and will update you with the information immediately after the issue is resolved."
