Human's long-awaited July 10 launch got off to a pretty good start, except for the persistent lag issues. Thankfully, Starry Studio has finally identified the trigger and is now "working diligently to address it."
The ALT PROBLEM in ONCE A MAN
Since launch, reports have been pouring in of players crashing out of Once Human and unable to move around the post-apocalyptic world. On July 20, nearly two weeks after release, a Starry developer initially acknowledged “the unusually high server latency issue” and assured the team would focus on fixing it as soon as possible. A day later, another developer, true to his word, declared that the “root cause” had been identified; a fix is on the way.
"Rest assured, our team has identified the root cause and is working hard to address it. This may still impact some players, but we want to assure you that we are committed to resolving this issue," they announced on Discord.
Free-to-play Once Human has already won over thousands of MMO fans with its enchanting world and exciting crafting-building opportunities. That hype has been somewhat dampened by a number of issues that have left the game unplayable for many who would give it a chance.
