This year’s League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational is packed with intense matches filled with ups and downs, close calls, and plenty of kills. One team is beating Summoner’s Rift so often with their play that they’re averaging 18 kills per match.
The Best Outplays of MSI 2024
According to pro play stats, Gol.gg and G2 are topping the charts with their unique approach. The only other team to come close so far is Fnatic with 16.4, while Asian teams like Gen. G, T1, and Top Esports are averaging 14 kills per match.
G2 is known for their aggression, especially in the early game. The team usually picks strong champions like Kalista, Nautilus and Vi. Players like Hansama and Mikyx are always looking for early kills, and they use this later as a way to extend their lead and close out the game.
Given how aggressive G2 plays, you would expect them to have a lot of deaths, but that hasn’t been the case so far. The team has the lowest death count at MSI, with only 10.4 deaths per match. Even Gen.G, the team WITH an excellent track record at this tournament, has an average of 12.2 deaths per match.
