Rumors of a OnePlus tablet have been swirling for the better part of 2023, but the OnePlus Pad isn’t far off until it hits stores and homes. On Tuesday, the company gave a more complete rundown of its specs, pricing, and a few extras that will be available for early adopters.
A “one-month standby life” from its built-in 9,510mAh battery is a particularly notable feature among the OnePlus Pad’s specs, though it remains to be seen how well that claim holds up. The new tablet also promises an 11.6-inch, 144Hz LCD display with a resolution of 2,800 by 2,000 pixels. While OnePlus has hinted at other models potentially being revealed in the future, the model currently being described also offers 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage.
A 13-megapixel rear camera supports up to 4K at 30 fps, while an 8-megapixel front-facing camera can handle up to 1080p at 30 fps. This front-facing camera also allows users to unlock the OnePlus Pad with their face, but the tablet packs a bunch of other sensors, from an accelerometer to light detectors. It can also connect to the internet via Wi-Fi 5 or 6, as well as WLAN, and supports both Bluetooth V5.3 and USB-C.
