After the Sakurajima update, you can now pick locks to access treasure chests in Palworld, and to do so you will need specific Lockpicking tools. Here’s how to get them and play the minigame to collect the items in the chests.

A treasure chest normally requires a key, but if you have this tool with you, you can still open the chest and take the loot. Players will need to craft a lockpicking tool, but note that there are 3 levels of these tools (V1, V2, and V3). To craft them, you will need a High-Quality Workbench.
These can be unlocked at levels 16, 28, and 51 in the Technology tab.
